Entangled

Too entangled in my own mind unable to see outside

Thoughts and memories churning together refusing to subside

I shut one up the other opens and starts the churning again

And when one stops the other starts and all goes in vain

I fight I battle I shout I cry but it refuses to shut the hell

I scramble I tare I stab I pierce it refuses to dwindle, but dwell

I run away where my feet take me but earth shrinks at seems

I ponder on the hopeless darkness in search of one beam

I go deeper with darkness of nights and get lost in my own self

I search for light I search for dream I search for my self……

U lose your self in a nick of time too entangled in your own mind

The darkness of your towering shadow stains hope to unwind

Brilliant...we all experience such state of mind sometimes in our life...especially when we accumulate enough painful memories and 'what if' scenarios...things we cannot change.. BUT I must confess I have never seen it expressed so beautifully in words...and the pace and rhyme suits beautifully to the content...
